Eyes Open is the passion project established by Tara Nyquist and her husband Matthew Nyquist. “There is no story I’d rather tell, nothing that means more to me, and no one else could write this but Matt and me. This is our story, our miracle.”
Dr. Tara Nyquist is a writer and producer from Lindsborg, KS. Tara’s love of movies was ignited during her high school years when she went to movies at least once a week with Matt on their dates. Her inspiration comes from Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Jaws, The Mummy and Mummy Returns, and Kevin Smith movies. She is a proud mom of three, loves to cook, has a strong drive to accomplish tasks, and loves to exercise with Matt each evening. Tara is excited to tell a story that so many have encouraged us to tell that could not be more heartfelt. This is a story no one else could write. She practices psychiatry as a nurse practitioner.
